Tourism Project will be implemented in Puerto Plata
Dominican President Lionel Fernandez authorized the installation of five projects indifferent areas, among which is the tourist line, with a total investment of 765 million dollars, and whose implementation will be initiated by the end of this year.
As reported by the director of the Center for Exports and Investment of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD), Eddy Martinez, the tourism project will be implemented in Puerto Plata and it is estimated that only in its first year will generate about 650,000additional tourists to the tourist destination Puerto Plata.
Martinez said that Fernandez will travel to Puerto Plata, the next 11 days this August, which will provide details about the tourism project, as published by the Caribbean.
The owner of CEI-RD did not elaborate on this initiative represents an improvement for tourism on the north coast because of the momentum of a greater flow of tourists.
With this announcement the Government of Puerto Plata destination begins to receive the attention it has sued both the Dominican State. It is recalled that on his last visit to Puerto Plata the head of state bridges and roads opened and confirmed his promise to rescue the commercial and tourist port in the area.
